Every campus in the State Center Community College District hosts Wi-Fi service for students, employees, and guests. Each group has a dedicated network. The Wi-Fi network for guests to our campuses is SCWIFI-Guest.
To access the SCWIFI-Guest network, simply open your list of available networks on your Wi-Fi compatible device and select it. After you do, a web page should appear that explains our Wi-Fi network usage policies and prompts you to agree to those policies before can begin to use it. When you confirm that you agree to our usage policy, you will be free to use the internet.
Please note that some websites are not accessible through the SCWIFI-Guest network, including MyPortal. If you need to access one of your student accounts as a current or former student, you will need to log into the SCWIFI network for students. You will need your student ID number and student password to log in. If you do not have your login information, please contact the Student Systems Support Call Center at (559) 499-6070 between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, and our daytime staff will be happy to assist you with your login information. (This service is only available during our daytime business hours. Our after-hours call center does not have the access required to assist with student login information.)
The SCCCD policy for all users of SCCCD equipment, networks, and computer systems can be found on the SCCCD Use Policy Page. Please click the link and review before using any SCCCD computers, mobile devices, computer systems, or networks.
