If you are logging into WebAdvisor with the correct login information and receiving a server error, a "Page cannot be displayed" error, or if you are redirected to the "Logged out" page, your access may be blocked by a security firewall on the network you are currently using. This is not uncommon for WebAdvisor users (students and employees) who are on commercial, educational, or business networks.
Solution: The solution to this issue is simple -- you need to change to a different network. This might mean waiting until you are either on a public access network, or on a residential network at your home or the home of a friend or family member.
The other option is to use a smart phone and switch from a Wi-Fi network to your cellular data stream.
Another possibility for receiving the “Page cannot be displayed” error is using a link that is saved to your Favorites or Bookmarks list. We update WebAdvisor’s security certificates often and sometimes server configurations change, too, which invalidates older saved links. This can also apply to attempting to access WebAdvisor by searching for it with a search engine like Google, Yahoo, or Bing. Those sites use old links that are stored in random places around the internet, so whenever a change is made, it can invalidate the search results.
It is always best to access WebAdvisor by starting at your college’s website Home page, clicking the MyPortal link, and then either use the WebAdvisor Guest Access link, or sign into your MyPortal account and select WebAdvisor from the Apps list on your MyPortal Dashboard.
